At Parenting Place, keeping our whānau, our facilitators, and our staff safe is of the utmost importance. We also know that families need support now, more than ever, and want to ensure our services are available to parents and whānau during these challenging times. If parents are unable to access our support face-to-face, there will be online alternatives available where possible.
The following outlines how we will remain available to those who need our support, while also maintaining a safe environment. This policy is in response to the COVID-19 Protection Framework and applicable health orders, and our own health and safety risk assessment.
Parenting Place will review this policy regularly to ensure that we are responding to the latest requirements and most up-to-date information.
Space, Toolbox and Building Awesome Whānau courses
Most of our courses are run through partner or community organisations. We believe that they are in the best position to assess the health and safety requirements of their communities in order to make courses available while also providing a safe environment for staff and participants. Because of this, we will be deferring to their health and safety assessments and policies. If you have questions related to the policy of your course, please direct your questions to your course provider.
If you are attending a facilitator training, a vaccine pass or negative test result in the last 3 days is required. This event will be run with physical distancing of 1 metre and face coverings required in RED, and physical distancing of 1 metre required and face coverings encouraged in ORANGE. Additional requirements if applicable for each training will be communicated directly to participants based on the specifics of each training. To book a training session, email email@example.com
Family Coaching will continue to be made available online. Details to access the online video session will be emailed to you once your booking is confirmed. Click here to book.
