30 years supporting parents* in Aotearoa

Established in 1993, we are a non-profit organisation – a charity with a heart for New Zealand families – supported by individual donors, corporate partners, trusts and government funding.

This enables us to deliver parenting courses, one-on-one parent coaching, parenting talks, media interviews, articles and online resources to inspire, equip and support thriving and connected whānau throughout Aotearoa.

We believe that every family can benefit from good parenting information, encouragement and nurture. And that healthy, loving families can transform communities.

*We support anyone raising a child, including parents, caregivers, grandparents, aunties, uncles, guardians and foster carers.

We inspire

We inspire parents to dream big for their whānau relationships – drawing on current research and 30 years of practical, hands-on experience to help parents build their confidence and a great family culture.

We equip

We equip parents with practical, relatable parenting tips and strategies through our online and in-person courses, coaching and resources as families navigate different ages and stages, and key milestones.

We journey

We journey with parents from the time their pēpē are born, right through to adulthood, supporting them especially through key transitions and big topics, alongside the highs, lows and every-days of family life.

What we're about

Our vision: That parents* feel confident and children deeply loved
